If you've just completed your 10th Grade, then you're wondering what stream to choose.
Here's a life saving piece of advice - Do what excites you! (even if others are pressurising you)
If you aren't into Math and Science, don't choose that stream.
If you're a Science wiz, please choose the science stream! Select whatever you can identify with as an individual.
There is a huge scope for everyone is almost every field as long as you're determined.
You will however, need to take a number of competitive exams once you're done with school. For certain courses, you can start taking the exams right away.

AIPMT - All India Pre Medical/ Pre Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT 2017) is a national level entrance exam that is organized every year for admission in MBBS/BDS programmes.
IIT Foundation Course - is designed for students to strengthen their foundation for engineering, various competitive and national-level talent search examinations e.g. NTSE, NLSTSE etc.
Students who are looking forward to take up engineering courses in future or planning to appear in national-level competitive exams, need to prepare well in advance to crack prestigious engineering entrance tests such as IIT-JEE, IIT-ADVANCED, AIEEE etc. and other competitive exams. To successfully clear and secure high marks in the engineering entrance exams, a student must have a solid understanding of Math, Chemistry, Physics and Reasoning concepts.
JEE main/advanced course - Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an all India common engineering entrance examination conducted for admission to various engineering colleges and courses all over the country. The test comprises of two stages - JEE Main and the JEE Advanced. The exams are of the objective pattern. JEE Advanced is regarded internationally as one of the most challenging engineering admission tests.
